NEW DELHI: Hindu Americans gathered at a historic gala to honour U.S. President Donald Trump, lauding him as a “pro-Hindu leader” who strengthened India-U.S. relations during his tenure. The event, attended by prominent members of the Indian-American community, celebrated Trump’s efforts to promote religious freedom and his commitment to bolstering ties with India.

 

The gala highlighted Trump’s initiatives, such as hosting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the “Howdy, Modi!” event in Houston and the “Namaste Trump” rally in Ahmedabad. Both events were pivotal in fostering goodwill between the two nations.

Speakers at the event commended Trump for his vocal support of Hindu values and his actions to combat global terrorism.
