New Delhi: The Disha Salian death case has taken a significant turn as a 75-page-long First Information Report (FIR) was officially registered on March 25, 2025, with Joint Commissioner of Mumbai Police Vivek Phansalkar.
The FIR lists high-profile individuals, including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, actress Rhea Chakraborty, actors Dino Morea and Suraj Pancholi, and others, reigniting public debate and scrutiny over the circumstances of Disha’s death.
Advocate Nilesh Ojha, representing Disha’s family, confirmed that a written complaint had initially been submitted to the Commissioner of Police (CP) and has now been formally registered as an FIR. “This is a crucial step towards justice for Disha. The FIR includes evidence and allegations that demand thorough investigation,” Ojha stated.

The FIR alleges a larger conspiracy behind the cover-up of Disha’s death. Advocate Ojha accused former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh of playing a pivotal role in orchestrating the alleged cover-up. Other individuals named in the complaint include Suraj Pancholi’s bodyguard, dismissed police officer Sachin Vaze, and key political and entertainment industry figures.

Disha Salian, the former manager to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020, after reportedly falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in Malad, Mumbai. Her death occurred just six days before the tragic demise of Sushant, sparking conspiracy theories and massive public outrage. Both cases have often been linked in media discussions due to their close timelines and suspicious circumstances.

Ojha also highlighted findings from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), alleging Aaditya Thackeray’s involvement in a drug racket as part of a broader investigation. He stated, “The FIR includes findings from the NCB and other evidence that point towards a potential drug nexus and larger conspiracy involving these high-profile names.”
The Mumbai Police and central agencies have not yet responded officially to the new developments. The case is expected to see further investigation as allegations against such prominent figures bring political and public attention back to Disha Salian’s tragic demise.

This latest development marks a crucial chapter in the pursuit of justice for Disha, with her father, Satish Salian, continuing to demand accountability and transparency.
The Mumbai Police and central investigative agencies have yet to respond officially to the allegations. As of now, public discourse surrounding the case has been reignited, with expectations of more revelations as the investigation proceeds.

I hope this investigation will reach to its apex and not get lost as CBI. The culprits should be punished.
