Devotees Drive To Jama Masjid To Celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr

With the COVID-19 restrictions lifted, the devotees drove in herds to the iconic Jama Masjid in New Delhi as Muslims in the country celebrated Eid-Ul-Fitr with devotion.

The old city area of the capital is full of fun and fervour filled with colour with the aroma of delicacies, especially seviyan, filling the air, bringing back the memories of a world before the deadly virus ravaged it.

Delhi Police personnel were in full force as they ensured adequate security arrangements around the historic mosque to avoid any untoward incidents and to ensure a peaceful celebration of the festival.

Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims around the globe to mark the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramzan.
