New Delhi: The Delhi Legislative Assembly is gearing up for a large-scale celebration of Grand Nav Samvatsar 2082, with elaborate arrangements being made for security, traffic management, and guest hospitality. Honโble Speaker Shri Vijender Gupta chaired a high-level meeting to review preparations, emphasizing smooth coordination among departments.

High-Profile Attendance Expected
The event is expected to be attended by Delhi Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha), and other distinguished guests, with over 1,500 invitees likely to participate.
Security and Traffic Measures
Given the scale of the event, Delhi Police officials, including Additional Deputy Commissioners (North), ACP Traffic, and CRPF personnel, have been directed to implement strict security protocols. A detailed traffic management plan has also been devised to prevent congestion around the Assembly premises.
Infrastructure and Decorations
The historic Delhi Assembly building will be adorned with floral decorations and illuminated for the occasion. Two large balloons will be placed at the venue to mark the celebrations. Authorities have also been instructed to ensure adequate drinking water facilities for attendees.
Departments including CATS, Fire Services, and Horticulture have been assigned specific roles to ensure the eventโs success. Following the review meeting, Speaker Shri Vijender Gupta conducted an on-site inspection along with police and administrative officials.
