DUSHANBE (TAJIKISTAN): On an official visit to Tajikistan, Union Jalshakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Monday met Indian students at Avicenna Tajik State Medical University in the capital Dushanbe.

During his interaction, Shekhawat gave details of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence to the medical students and said that the future of India depends on their performance.

“We have to create a new picture in the next 20-25 years and all students are capable of doing that,” he said, adding that Indian students understand the responsibility towards their country even as when they live in a foreign country.

As he had breakfast with the students, the minister said, “It seems a huge joint family of India is present on the soil of Tajikistan. Everyone is taking care of each other.”

Minister Shekhawat also met members of the Indian community living in Tajikistan.
