Congress leader Ajai Rai in soup for latke-jhatke jibe at Smriti Irani

Congress leader Ajay Rai’s sexist comment on Union minister Smriti Irani has invited  criticism from all quarters.

His “latke jhatke” jibe draws ire from all quarters. Irani took to Twitter to question if Rahul Gandhi was looking to return to Amethi.

In 2019, Irani defeated Rahul Gandhi to seize Amethi ending Congress’ reign of decades.

Sanjay Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have all represented Amethi at different times.
