NEW DELHI: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Monday joined over 1,000 Kashmiri Pandits at a cultural-spiritual gathering organized by the Kashmiri Hindu Prakosth, celebrating the eternal bond of Lord Krishna with Kashmir and calling for peace, restoration of Dharma, and the dignified return of displaced Kashmiri Hindus to their homeland.
The celebration was marked by prayers, cultural performances, and spiritual discourses, with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Naib Singh Saini, joining devotees, scholars, artists, and youth in collective prayers to Lord Krishna.
The gathering sought blessings for peace in Kashmir, the restoration of Dharma, and the dignified return of Kashmiri Hindus to their homeland.
CM Saini lauded the resilience of the Kashmiri Hindu community and announced the establishment of Kashmiri Pandit Heritage Centres at multiple locations, including Gurgaon. The initiative aims to preserve and promote the community’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy.
He was joined on stage by Gita Manishi Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj, Swami Kumar Ji, Raj Nehru (OSD to CM), Somnath Sachdeva (VC, Kurukshetra University), and several other dignitaries.
Blessing the gathering, Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj emphasized the eternal spiritual bond linking Krishna, Kashyap, Kashmir, and Kurukshetra, urging devotees to live by courage, compassion, and truth.
Raj Nehru described the celebration as a “collective sankalp, a prayer and a promise to honor civilizational roots and ensure a future where Kashmiri Hindus return home with dignity and peace.”
