CM Dhami Appeals To People Of Uttarakhand To Hoist Tiranga

DEHRADUN: After listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Man Ki Baat’, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhani appealed to the people of Uttarakhand to hoist the national flag to commemorate 75th Independence Day and remember the struggle and sacrifice of freedom fighters.

On this Independence Day, on the initiative of PM Modi, from August 13 to August 15, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign will be organized with people’s participation.

“Our independence is the result of all the known and unknown great freedom fighters who gave freedom to the country. The Amrit Mahotsav is being organized on the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence. We should all express our gratitude for the sacrifice of countless freedom fighters,” said the CM.

Newly-appointed state BJP president Mahendra Bhatt, members of the state Cabinet and other state party functionaries also listened to the prime minister’s monthly radio programme at the chief minister’s residence.

“This would send the message of our unity to the whole world. Today the whole world looks toward India. The world is recognizing the importance of Indian culture, Yoga and Ayush,” added the CM.
