New Delhi: Bookmyshow has announced the cancellation of the India ‘Still Rolling Tour’ of Canada-based Punjabi singer Shubhneet Singh amid allegations of him supporting Khalistani elements.

Ahead of his coming to Mumbai for his show, BJYM, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, protested vehemently against the singer coming to the city in relation to his connection with the Khalistan movement.

The move comes amid face-off between India and Canada over controversial statement of Justin Trudeau claiming the hands of Indian agents behind the killing of “most wanted” Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. India has called the accusations ‘baseless’ in a response to Trudeau’s remarks.

Bookmyshow also shared that they have initiated the complete amount of tickets back to the purchasers and it will reflect in their accounts in 7-10 working days.

BJP’s youth wing has recently taken to the street against the ‘Cheques’ famed singer who has been accused of being a Khalistani sympathizer.

While speaking to the media, BJYM President Tajinder Singh Tiwana said “There is no space for Khalistanis who are the enemy of integrity and unity of India. We won’t let Canadian singer Shubh perform on the auspicious land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mumbai…If no proper action is taken then the organizers will have to face the revolt.”

The singer earlier also has shared a distorted map of India on his Instagram that excluded the states of Jammu & Kashmir, northeast and Punjab from the map of India with the caption Pray for Punjab.

Earlier, BOAT also withdrew its sponsorship to the Singer’s show and, in a statement shared on X, said “At boAt, while our commitment to the incredible music community runs deep, we are first & foremost a true Indian brand. Therefore, when we became aware of the remarks made by artist Shubh earlier this year, we chose to withdraw our sponsorship from the tour.”

The singer has recently become a household name in India with songs like ‘OG’, ‘We rolling’ and ‘Still Rolling’.

The singer was scheduled to perform in Mumbai from September 23 to 25 as part of the Cruise Control 4.0 event, organized aboard the Cordelia Cruise.

Apart from this, Shubh also had a three-month-long tour in India. He was scheduled to perform in cities like New Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
