Adding further intrigue to the electoral landscape, the party has nominated Jaiveer Singh to run against Dimple Yadav in the Mainpuri constituency, Uttar Pradesh. Following the withdrawal of Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh from the Lok Sabha race last month amid allegations of targeting Bengali women in his videos and movies, the BJP has nominated SS Ahluwalia for the Asansol seat in West Bengal.

The Lok Sabha elections are set to commence on April 19, spanning seven phases, with the results scheduled to be announced on June 4, 2024. The BJP’s latest list underscores the party’s strategic approach as it gears up for a high-stakes electoral battle across various constituencies.
