72 Hrs Before 75th I-day, Bihar Labourer Killed By Kashmir Terrorists

SRINAGAR: A labourer from Bihar’s Madhepura was shot dead by terrorists in Bandipora of northern Kashmir last night, police said.

The victim has been identified as Mohammad Amrez, a resident of Besarh area of Madhepura district in Bihar.

He was shot at in Soadnara Sumbal area of Bandipora district around midnight. Amrez was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment where doctors declared him dead on arrival, informed Kashmir Zone Police.

Last week, Mohammad Mumtaz, also migrant worker from Bihar, was killed and two others were injured in a terrorist attack in Pulwama district. The injured, Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Maqbool, were also from Bihar.

The killing came a day after four soldiers lost their lives and another sustained injuries in an attack on an Army camp in Rajouri district of Jammu.

Subedar Rajendra Prasad, Rifleman Manoj Kumar, Rifleman Lakshmanan D and Rifleman Nishant Malik made the supreme sacrifice while neutralising two terrorists on a suicide attack.
