Bihar has lost confidence in CM Nitish Kumar: Chirag Paswan

LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan has criticized CM Nitish Kumar for failing to tackle crime rate in the state

JAMUI: In a scathing critique of Bihar’s political landscape, Chirag Paswan, the Member of Parliament from Jamui and the National President of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), has voiced strong reservations about Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s credibility. Speaking at a recent event, Paswan lamented the erosion of public trust in Kumar’s leadership and questioned his ability to effectively govern the state.

Paswan’s criticism centers on what he views as Nitish Kumar’s disregard for the people’s mandate and the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar. He alleged that Kumar’s actions have led to a situation where crime is rampant across the state, leaving citizens vulnerable and disillusioned.

“Nobody has confidence in Nitish anymore,” Paswan asserted, “The Chief Minister himself seems unaware of critical matters, and this has resulted in disrespect for the people’s votes.” He further questioned Kumar’s ability to make sound decisions, emphasizing that the Chief Minister’s credibility is now a matter of significant concern.

Paswan’s statement comes in the wake of what he described as two instances of Nitish Kumar undermining the people’s mandate. He contended that Bihar’s citizens are increasingly disillusioned with Kumar’s leadership, as they witness crime rates surge to alarming levels. Paswan’s assertions suggest that the public’s faith in Kumar’s ability to address these challenges has waned.

The Jamui MP went on to express his belief that Bihar is no longer being effectively managed under Kumar’s leadership. Paswan highlighted a tragic incident in which seven people lost their lives while attempting to rescue a child who had fallen into a well. This incident, he argued, exemplifies the Chief Minister’s inability to ensure the safety and security of Bihar’s citizens.

As the political landscape in Bihar evolves, Chirag Paswan’s comments have brought renewed attention to the state’s governance and the challenges it faces. With an upcoming assembly election on the horizon, it remains to be seen how these developments will impact the political dynamics in Bihar and the public’s perception of its leaders.
