CHENNAI: Excitement is soaring ahead of the release of OG Sambavam, the first single from Ajith Kumar’s upcoming action thriller Good Bad Ugly, set to drop on Thursday. The makers recently shared a high-energy promo, followed by a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video earlier this week, offering fans a glimpse into the film’s making under director Adhik Ravichander’s vision.
The track, co-sung by director Adhik and composer GV Prakash Kumar, has already sparked buzz with its fiery lyrics: “Thirai Arangam Sedharattum… Ivan Per Mulanga Kalakkatum… Podusungalam kadharattum.. Whistle parakkatum… Nallavana.. Nee Pathavan Kettavana.. Kadha Maarudhu Saathikoda.. Idhu OG Sambavamdha.” The dynamic verses and beats promise to amplify the film’s gritty tone.
Starring Trisha in the lead role as Ramya, the project features a powerhouse ensemble cast including Prasanna, Arjun Das, Yogi Babu, and Suneel. Produced by Mythiri Movie Makers, the film wrapped shooting in December 2023. Initially slated for a Pongal 2024 release, Good Bad Ugly is now gearing up for a theatrical debut on April 10, with fans eagerly awaiting Ajith’s return to the screen.
