Sources in the Office of the Minister of Civil Aviation (HMCA) confirmed that the Prime Minister was briefed by the minister shortly after the incident occurred. The PM expressed deep concern over the situation and directed that no effort be spared in the rescue operations.

 

Minister Naidu, responding to the Prime Minister’s instructions, is en route to Ahmedabad and will directly oversee the ground operations.
