New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held its monthly state-level organizational meeting on Sunday at the party headquarters in New Delhi, chaired by Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj. The meeting was attended by senior office-bearers, including state vice presidents, organizing secretaries, district presidents, and joint secretaries.
During the discussions, Bharadwaj reviewed the party’s organizational structure across all assembly constituencies in Delhi. Organizing secretaries presented updates on the strengths and weaknesses of local units, with well-performing areas being acknowledged and weaker segments flagged for improvement. Several secretaries raised concerns about vacant positions at the assembly level, prompting Bharadwaj to direct them to submit a detailed list of unfilled posts for swift appointments.
Bharadwaj emphasized that underperforming office-bearers would be replaced with more capable and committed workers. “Filling vacancies and ensuring accountability will strengthen our Delhi unit and prepare the party for future challenges,” he said.
The meeting is part of AAP’s structured organizational calendar, where the first Sunday of each month is reserved for assembly-level meetings, the second for district-level reviews, and the third for state-level discussions.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Bharadwaj expressed gratitude to party workers for their efforts in strengthening the organization. The gathering marked a push to streamline AAP’s grassroots operations ahead of upcoming political engagements.
