NEW DELHI: The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the Bihar Legislative Assembly Election 2025, with polling to take place in two phases across all 243 assembly constituencies.
In the first phase, covering 121 constituencies, the gazette notification will be issued on October 10, with the last date for filing nominations on October 17. Scrutiny will take place on October 18, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until October 20. Polling for this phase will be held on November 6.
The second phase, covering 122 constituencies, will begin with the notification on October 13. The last date for nominations is October 20, scrutiny on October 21, and withdrawal by October 23. Voting for this phase will take place on November 11.
Counting of votes across both phases will be held on November 14, and the election process will be completed by November 16.
