Following the incident, SRK first travelled to the United States for medical consultation before relocating to the United Kingdom, where he is currently recuperating with his family. His planned trip to Sri Lanka — reportedly for a location recce and personal engagements — has been postponed indefinitely to focus on his health and well-being.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King has been generating massive buzz as it marks the big-screen debut of Suhana Khan, SRK’s daughter, who was last seen in Netflix’s The Archies. The film also stars a stellar ensemble including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, and Abhay Verma — a casting coup that promises a gripping, high-octane action drama.

While production had been on a tight schedule, the unforeseen injury has forced a pause, with shooting now expected to resume in September. Insiders say the makers are using this time to fine-tune action choreography and post-production planning to avoid further delays.

Despite the setback, enthusiasm around King remains sky-high. Fans across the globe have flooded social media with get-well-soon wishes for the superstar, expressing unwavering support for the film and its team.
