Nigerian military soldiers have overthrown the presidential rule, dissolving institutions within the country

A curfew from 10 am to 5 pm has been imposed in the nation, with air routes and borders closed.

In a TV announcement on 26 July, Col. Maj Abdramamana and nine other uniformed soldiers declared an end to the existing regime.
