NEW DELHI: Bangalore-based menswear brand The Bear House has announced its entry into the Middle East, marking its first international foray by launching on major regional e-commerce platforms — Noon, Namshi, and Amazon. The move signals the brand’s ambition to establish a strong physical and omnichannel presence across the high-potential Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

Known for its contemporary smart casuals, The Bear House aims to tap into the GCC’s growing demand for premium men’s fashion. The region’s robust e-commerce infrastructure, fashion-forward consumer base, and appetite for versatile clothing make it an ideal expansion market for the Indian label.

Speaking on the launch, Harsh Somaiya, Co-Founder of The Bear House, said, “This is our first major step toward becoming a global Indian brand. The Bear House fills the ‘affordable luxury’ gap in the GCC, which currently offers consumers limited options between high-end international labels and low-cost value brands. With the UAE being the fashion and e-commerce hub of the region, we see this as a natural extension of our Indian business.”

The brand’s offerings include comfort-led shirts, polos, denims, blazers, accessories, and hybrid wardrobe essentials tailored to meet the lifestyle of modern professionals. The collections are designed with a blend of timeless style, regional adaptability, and minimalist European aesthetics.

The Bear House has seen rapid growth in India, transitioning from an online-only brand to establishing offline retail stores in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Delhi. The brand gained national attention after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 4, where it secured a ₹3 crore investment from Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals.

Earlier this year, the company also raised ₹50 crore in Series A funding led by JM Financial India Growth Fund III to accelerate its domestic and international expansion. It currently leads the shirts category on major Indian platforms and has ambitious plans to cross ₹250 crore in net revenue with over 80% year-on-year growth.

As The Bear House sets its sights on the global market, its Middle East debut marks a significant milestone in its journey to becoming a leading Indian player in the premium menswear space.
