The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Saudi Arabia to host the inaugural Olympic Esports Games in 2025.

The Olympic Esports Series (OES) is a global virtual and simulated sports competition created by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in collaboration with game publishers and international federations. The inaugural edition took place in Singapore in 2023, and a second edition is planned for 2024.
