Sex is now ‘sport’ & its first championship starts next week

The diverse range of disciplines in the European Sex Championship includes seduction, body massages, exploring erotic zones, prelude, oral sex, penetration, and endurance.

NEW DELHI: Sweden, known for its progressive values and commitment to equality, has made history by officially recognizing sex as a sport. What could further shock many Indians, the northern European country is all set to hold the first-ever European Sex Championship.

The competition will be organized by the Swedish Sex Federation will commence on June 8. Participants from various European countries will compete in 16 different disciplines, showcasing their skills and abilities in a tournament lasting several weeks. Each day, competitors will engage in rigorous six-hour sessions, with individual “matches” lasting between 45 minutes to an hour.

The diverse range of disciplines in the European Sex Championship includes seduction, body massages, exploring erotic zones, prelude, oral sex, penetration, endurance, physical appearance, execution of poses, creativity in position changes, endurance and number of orgasms within a given time, artistic performance and pose transitions, and the ability to increase blood pressure and heart rate during the competition.

Sex as a sport is a complex endeavor that requires creativity, emotional intelligence, imagination, physical fitness, endurance, and work capacity.

Additional categories focus on the most beautiful and intricate pose, the most artistic communication as judged by a panel and the audience, and the couple who display the most activity, artistry in Kamasutra, and popularity among both the jury and spectators.

In each discipline, participants can score between 5 and 10 points, as determined by a combination of public voting and a panel of five judges. The tournament is divided into three levels, with participants required to achieve a specific number of points in each level to progress further.

The European Sex Championship embraces inclusivity, welcoming participants regardless of their sexual orientation or gender. The organizers emphasize that sexual orientation can play a strategic role in this sport, which they believe will be adopted by other European countries in the future.

“The incorporation of sexual orientation as a part of sporting tactics will be a groundbreaking development among European countries,” stated the competition organizer.

Dragan Bratych, president of the Swedish Federation of Sex, expressed his belief that the recognition of sex as a sport was inevitable. He highlighted the potential for physical and mental well-being through sexual activity, emphasizing the importance of training.

“Just like any other sport, achieving desired results in sex requires training. Therefore, it is only logical for people to start competing in this domain as well,” Bratych explained.

He emphasized the unique nature of this sport, where the objective is to provide immense pleasure to the opponent. In this game, the competitor’s success is measured by their ability to satisfy their partner, fostering a revolutionary and distinctive approach compared to traditional sports where defeat often leads to disappointment.

While other sports may leave opponents feeling disheartened, sex as a sport aims to maximize enjoyment for all involved. Bratych emphasized, “The more pleasure your partner experiences, the more points you earn.”

The Swedish Sex Federation has said that sex as a sport is a complex endeavor that requires creativity, emotional intelligence, imagination, physical fitness, endurance, and work capacity. The president of the federation also mentioned that the competition rules would evolve over time based on observations and needs.
