Raj Kundra’s ‘UT69’ trailer makes netizens ‘laugh, cry, think’ | watch  

Raj Kundra’s upcoming movie UT69 trailer is out.

NEW DELHI: The trailer for Raj Kundra’s forthcoming movie, “UT69,” is out. Scheduled for release on November 3, this biographical film stars filmmaker Raj Kundra himself in the lead role. The trailer offers a sneak peek into Raj’s time at Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail because of his alleged involvement in a pornographic content case.

In 2021, the filmmaker faced arrest on charges related to the production of explicit films, and following his apprehension, he had refrained from making public appearances. On several occasions, Raj Kundra was spotted wearing a face mask in public. Nevertheless, on October 18, he revealed his face and the trailer of his biographical film.

“UT69” mostly revolves around the time that he spend in jail during his trial period. The film is a dark comedy, which shows the trials, challenges, and unexpected friendships that Raj encountered during that time.

While addressing the media about his upcoming film, he said, “This is more than just a movie for me! While it’s a closure of sorts, you will see through my eyes a story about survival, friendships, and relationships inside India’s most notoriously crowded infamous detention centre, also known as Arthur Road Jail.”

Taking to the comments section, people have reacted to the trailer. One user wrote, “The diversity of the cast in the trailer is also very refreshing. I’m glad to see that the filmmakers are making an effort to represent different types of people in their movies.”

A second remarked, “Looks like an excellent well-acted movie. What’s more it’s a true story which makes it all the more interesting. I hope it helps set the record straight. It’s a cruel world we are living in today.”
