NEW DELHI: Two shooters suspected to be involved in the daylight killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala were killed in an encounter by Punjab Police in Amritsar district on Wednesday.

The two shooters – Manpreet Singh alias Mannu Kussa and Jagreet Singh alias Rupa – were holed up in an abandoned building in Chicha Bamka village. When the police team asked them to surrender they returned fire.

Sources told The New Indian that they were wearing the same kind of clothes to mislead the people. They have been hiding in the abandoned house for the past few days.
