A team of parliamentary delegation of CPI(M), CPI, and Congress is going to Tripura in the post-poll violence areas on Friday and meet the affected family.
According to sources, the delegation is also seeking an appointment to meet the governor.
The development comes as the state of Tripura went for assembly polls on February 16 with reports of post-poll violence doing the rounds regularly, since the declaration of election results.
The parliamentary delegation team will reach Tripura on March 10 at 14:30.
The delegation was divided into teams A, B, and C with an assigned function for each affected area. The teams will visit the reported affected areas such as Dhwjanagar, Sanartari, Nehalchandra Nagar, Kalkalia, Boxonagar, and others.
A delegation of total 8MPs will be reaching Tripura tomorrow to visit the post poll violence affected areas.

The team will return on March 11 and submit a joint report after making observations.
The swearing-in ceremony of the second term of Manik Saha was boycotted by the Left and Congress following the alleged terror unleashed by the party in power.
According to the Election Commission of India, BJP won 32 seats with a vote share of around 39 percent. Tipra Motha Party came second by winning 13 seats. Communist Party of India (Marxist) got 11 seats while Congress bagged three seats. The Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) managed to open its account by winning one seat.
