NEW DELHI: KPI Green Energy Limited has announced the signing of contract agreements worth ₹696.50 crore (excluding GST) with SJVN Limited, a Government of India enterprise, for the execution of a 200 MW (AC) solar power project at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Gujarat.
The agreement marks a major milestone in KPI Green’s journey as one of India’s leading EPC players in the renewable energy sector.
The three-part contract—covering Supply, EPC, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M)—not only expands KPI Green’s utility-scale portfolio but also strengthens its presence in one of India’s most critical renewable energy corridors.
Project Scope
Under the agreement, KPI Green will handle complete execution responsibility, including:

Supply of all plant and equipment as per approved technical and quality standards

Erection, installation, and construction works including civil, architectural, and structural activities

Unloading, handling, storage, and insurance for all supplied equipment

Testing, commissioning, and performance assessment up to operational acceptance

Comprehensive O&M services for three years post–Commercial Operation Date (COD), including spares and consumables
The contracts ensure a fully integrated and accountable EPC delivery model for the 200 MW (AC) project.
Expanding Footprint in Khavda
The Khavda Renewable Energy Park, set to become the world’s largest renewable energy installation, is a flagship zone in India’s clean-energy expansion plans. With the addition of this project, KPI Green now has a cumulative footprint of over 845 MWp (DC) in Khavda, positioning the company as a strong emerging EPC service provider in the region.
