Here Is All You Need To Know About WhatsApp Outage

Services of Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp witnessed disruption for around an hour on Tuesday.

Users took to social media platforms to report the problem, with the majority of them complaining that they were not able to send or receive messages on WhatsApp.

Not just in India, users from across the globe have reported outages.

As per reports, the WhatsApp server is down which renders users with no option but to wait for the issues on the server side to be fixed.

Users reported that they are not able to send messages to one-to-one chats and group chats, send a new status update and register as a new user or log into the existing account.

Some also said that even updating profile information or privacy settings is not possible.

In a statement, Meta said that its engineers are working to restore services at the earliest.

“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages and we’re working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible,” the spokesperson said, as per reports.

As Downdetector, a platform that provides users with real-time information about the status of various websites and services, around 30000 complaints were received in India at 1 pm on Tuesday.
