New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a man from Hisar, Haryana, for allegedly raping and sexually assaulting multiple minor girls over several years. The accused was also found in possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), which he allegedly created, shared, and stored electronically.
The case, registered on May 29, 2025, came to light after the CBI independently detected the crimes, as none of the victims or their families had reported the incidents to law enforcement. Using advanced cyber forensic tools, the agency traced CSAM images and videos linked to the accused through INTERPOL’s International Child Sexual Exploitation (ICSE) database and Cyber Tipline Reports submitted by Google to the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C).
During searches at the accused’s residence on June 3, the CBI seized electronic devices containing incriminating evidence and identified multiple victims who were subjected to rape, sexual assault, and threats for pornographic purposes. The accused was arrested the same day.
The CBI has reaffirmed its commitment to combating child sexual exploitation and ensuring justice for victims. Investigations are ongoing.
