BJP Unveils ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ for 2024 Elections: Promises 6G, Free Ration for poor

One Nation One Election and India to host next Olympics all part of Manifesto.

NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday released its manifesto titled ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The grand unveiling took place with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the event alongside key party figures including BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

One of the notable promises highlighted in the ‘Sankalp Patra’ is the introduction of 6G technology, signaling India’s technological infrastructure. Additionally, the manifesto pledges to provide free ration, water, gas connections, and electricity to impoverished communities over the next five years. Furthermore, the BJP’s manifesto underscores its ambition to elevate India’s global stature by bidding to host the Olympics in 2036.

Addressing concerns about electoral processes, the manifesto promises to introduce a common electoral roll system and advocate for ‘One Nation, One Election’, implementation of the National Education Policy, and law against paper leaks. Year 2025 to be declared as ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Year’ in the BJP Manifesto.

The manifesto, dubbed ‘Modi ki guarantee,’ outlines the BJP’s vision and commitments to the nation. At the launch of the BJP’s manifesto, Prime Minister Modi personally handed over copies to three beneficiaries of central government schemes, symbolizing the party’s commitment to grassroots empowerment and welfare initiatives. Among the recipients was Raghuvir, a Chole Kulche vendor in Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar, who has benefitted from the PM Svanidhi Yojna, which provides loans to street vendors.

Another beneficiary, Ramvir from Jhajjar, Haryana, has been aided by the PM Kisan Yojna, which offers annual cash incentives to small and marginal farmers. Lilawati from Bastar, a third beneficiary, has availed herself of schemes such as the Ujwala Yojna, which provides subsidies for cooking gas, and Har Ghar Jal, aimed at providing potable water connections to households.

Under the leadership of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who chaired the manifesto committee, the BJP meticulously crafted its vision for the nation’s future. The committee, comprising 27 members, meticulously deliberated over the aspirations and concerns of citizens, culminating in the formulation of the comprehensive manifesto. Convening twice, the committee meticulously gathered inputs with an impressive accumulation of over 1.5 million recommendations.

These inputs were sourced from multiple channels, with 400,000 suggestions originating from the NaMo app, a platform designed to engage with citizens directly, and 1.1 million submitted via videos.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was appointed as the coordinator. Union Minister Piyush Goyal was appointed as the co-coordinator, supporting Sitharaman in her efforts to streamline the committee’s operations. In addition to Singh, Sitharaman, and Goyal, the committee comprised 24 other members, representing a diverse range of perspectives and expertise.

As the BJP embarks on its electoral campaign, it remains steadfast in its commitment to fulfilling promises made to the people. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh affirmed the party’s track record of delivering on its manifesto commitments, highlighting achievements such as the abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Mandir, and the implementation of the National Education Policy.

With the Lok Sabha elections on the horizon, the BJP seeks to garner widespread support by presenting a comprehensive roadmap for India’s future growth and prosperity.
