New Delhi: The Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed an MoU with Puch AI to deploy AI-driven productivity tools for women belonging to urban Self-Help Groups (SHGs) operating in the retail sector.

The announcement was first shared by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who emphasized that the collaboration is aimed at empowering SHG women with advanced technological support to improve efficiency and business outcomes.

According to Naidu, the Municipal Administration Department’s agreement with Puch AI will introduce tailored AI solutions that help SHG women streamline retail operations, enhance productivity, improve decision-making, and strengthen their economic participation.

Puch AI Leadership Calls It a ‘Positive Impact Initiative’

Puch AI’s Siddharth Bhatia expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, saying he is “excited to partner with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to drive positive impact with AI for its citizens.”

A photograph shared along with the posts shows CM Naidu with Puch AI representatives after the signing of the agreement.

The initiative adds to Andhra Pradesh’s broader mission to integrate AI into governance, skilling, and service delivery—especially for economically active groups like SHG women.

Officials say the partnership will help transform micro-entrepreneurship by equipping women with next-generation digital tools.

With this move, Andhra Pradesh positions itself among the leading states in India using AI to empower women entrepreneurs at the grassroots level.
