New Delhi: In a significant development, Air Marshal AK Bharti confirmed the successful completion of Operation Sindoor, with all Indian pilots returning safely after executing coordinated strikes against Pakistani air bases and military infrastructure across the Western Front. The strikes targeted key sites, including Chaklala, Rafiq, and Rahim Yar Khan, marking a decisive response to Pakistan’s support for terrorism.

In a joint press briefing on Sunday, Air Marshal Bharti detailed the precision and planning that went into selecting the nine terrorist targets. He emphasized the careful approach taken to minimize collateral damage, stating, “We carefully chose those nine targets of terrorist outfits to avoid collateral damage.” He further elaborated on the strikes by showcasing images of the impact points, including a red building where terrorists were living. “This red building, which was inhabited by terrorists, was destroyed entirely by the IAF,” Bharti said, pointing to the empty ground around the structure.

The operation also included a strike on the Bhagalpur training camp, with Bharti explaining that the ammunition penetrated the roof, completely destroying the facility. “It was a large target, so we had to carefully choose only that one building among many,” he added.

In a crucial update, Bharti revealed that Pakistan attempted to breach Indian airspace in response to the cross-border counterterror operations. The Pakistani fighter jets were swiftly repelled by the Indian Air Force, which downed “a few planes,” inflicting significant losses on Pakistan’s side.

This operation underscores the precision, effectiveness, and coordination of the Indian Armed Forces in addressing terrorism and defending the nation’s sovereignty.
