NEW DELHI: The Microsoft Excel World Championship (MEWC) India Qualifier 2025 concluded with remarkable enthusiasm, as Aditya Kumar Darak emerged as the national champion.
The event was organized by Skyesports in collaboration with the Financial Modeling World Cup (FMWC) and supported by the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS), with GIGABYTE serving as the Powered By partner.
Drawing over 500 registrations from across India, the championship spotlighted the nation’s growing prowess in data-driven problem solving, logical reasoning, and analytical excellence through the versatile platform of Microsoft Excel.
After several rounds of intense online qualifiers featuring complex, time-bound case-solving tasks, Aditya Kumar Darak claimed the top position.
His victory secures him a fully funded trip to Las Vegas, USA, where he will represent India at the MEWC 2025 World Finals later this year, competing for international glory and a share of the $61,500 prize pool.
The final round saw six top contenders battle for supremacy:

Each finalist demonstrated remarkable mastery in solving advanced analytical challenges under strict time limits, showcasing a blend of logic, speed, and creativity. However, it was Aditya’s precision, consistency, and strategic thinking that ultimately set him apart.
