New Delhi: The Chinese Embassy in India has announced that the China Online Visa Application System will be officially launched on December 22, 2025, enabling applicants to submit visa forms and upload documents digitally.
The announcement was made by Xu Feihong, Chinese Ambassador to India, in an X post on Monday.
The new system is expected to simplify the visa process and reduce paperwork and processing time for Indian travelers applying for business, study, family visit and tourism visas.
“China Online Visa Application System will be officially launched by the Chinese Embassy in India on December 22, 2025. Applicants could enjoy convenience of filling out the form and uploading application materials online,” Ambassador Xu posted on X.
The Embassy also shared details of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in New Delhi, which will continue to support applicants in person.

The center operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and can be contacted via +91-9999036735. It is located at Concourse Floor, Shivaji Stadium Metro Station, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi – 110001.
The move comes amid increasing people-to-people exchanges, academic travel, and business visits between India and China.
The Embassy advised applicants to visit the official portal visafochina.cn for detailed instructions and documentation requirements.
