The top teams from each group battled over four days, from July 25 to July 28, 2025, aiming to qualify for the Grand Finals of one of India’s most prestigious esports tournaments.
Group Breakdown
-
Group A included popular names like 4TR Official, Orangutan, Team Forever, Genesis Esports, and emerging squads such as Bot Army and Money Makers.
-
Group B saw a fierce clash between heavyweights like Revenant Esports (Revenant XSpark), Team SouL, and GodLike Esports, along with dark horses such as TWOB, FS Esports, and Carpe Diem.
-
Group C was equally intense, with top contenders like Meta Ninza, Wyld Fangs, and Cincinnati Kids, along with K9 Esports, Medal Esports, and others.
Tournament Format and Points System
The semi-finals were played over 18 games, with each match awarding points for placement (P) and kills (K). Matches were distributed over four days, with five games each on July 25–27 and three games on the final day, July 28. Teams had to maintain consistent performance across all maps to secure a spot in the Grand Finals.
Top Performers
Revenant XSpark emerged as the undisputed leader with 127 total points, dominating early and late stages alike. They achieved multiple first-place finishes, including standout performances in Game 1, Game 4, and Game 15, backed by aggressive kill counts (e.g., 14 kills in Game 15). Their coordination, map control, and clutch plays made them the most consistent team in the semi-finals.
Meta Ninza followed in second place with 95 points, proving that consistency beats occasional brilliance. Although they didn’t secure many first-place finishes, their multiple top-three placements ensured steady progression throughout the tournament.
Genesis Esports and Team Forever tied at 91 points each. Genesis started strong with a win in Game 3 and remained consistent, while Team Forever surged mid-tournament, claiming the top spot in Game 7 and performing reliably in most matches.
Orangutan finished with 88 points, peaking during Games 10 and 11 with back-to-back wins — including an impressive 19-kill chicken dinner. Their resurgence mid-event showed their ability to adapt under pressure.
K9 Esports, with 86 points, closed strong with top-three finishes and consistent kill numbers, showing potential as a future tournament threat.
Close Contenders and Underdogs
Teams like Wyld Fangs, Cincinnati Kids, and Jux Esports (each around 77–78 points) were constantly in the race for qualification. Wyld Fangs delivered a huge win in Game 17, while Cincinnati Kids were among the early standouts with a win in Game 3 and good mid-game control.
Los Hermanos Esports (74 pts), Medal Esports (72 pts), and TWOB (71 pts) also displayed occasional brilliance, although inconsistency in placements cost them a higher standing. Notably, TWOB put on a show in Game 18 with a dominant finish.
Underperformers and Eliminated Teams
On the flip side, fan-favorite squads like Team SouL (58 pts) and GodLike Esports (38 pts) failed to make an impact this time. While SouL had a decent start, their inconsistency and lack of finishes pushed them down the table. GodLike Esports struggled throughout, failing to convert their engagements into high placements or kill points.
Money Makers, Team Eggy, Marcos Gaming, and 4TR Official were among the mid-tier teams with some good individual matches but lacked overall consistency. Jaguar Official, NoNx Esports, Carpe Diem, and Bot Army finished at the bottom, struggling to adapt to the high-pressure format of the iQOO BGIS semi-finals.
